Sam uses his more than two decades of industry experience to make a meaningful difference in his clients’ financial lives. He gets to know and understand his clients on a deeper level due to the nature of his focused practice, providing comprehensive guidance regarding the goals and concerns that stem from all aspects of life. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, he helps clients through important milestones and transitions, including retirement.

Clients appreciate his ability to listen and understand their goals, concerns and situation, meeting them where they are at with clear communication. He helps with everything from tax-efficient investing to maximizing charitable giving. He enjoys having a career that combines his finance knowledge, interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.

He began in the industry at Merrill Lynch, where he advanced to senior financial advisor. He then formed Kruegold Asset Management as an independent practice that would facilitate his ability to tailor individualized solutions to each client. He continues with this objective perspective as an affiliate of North Atlantic Investment Partners.

He graduated from Vassar College, majoring in economics, and earned an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science. He and his family are members to Temple Reyim in Newton and are active supporters of the Hasbro Children’s Hospital Partial Program, Drumlin Farm Camp Scholarship Program, Jerusalem University, Birthright Israel, Hillel and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.

A native of the Bronx, Sam now lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts, with his wife, Susan. They have three children, Raleigh, Liza and Raphael. When he’s not serving clients, you might find Sam skiing, reading, kayaking or biking.
